This low hydrogen single coated general purpose electrode is used for out of position welding, except vertical down. Excellent strength and toughness makes it ideal for construction, boilers, containers, shipbuilding as well as low purity and high carbon steels.

 

Features and Applications

Suitable for welding with AC power

Suitable for use in out-of-position welding, except welding in vertical down position

Excellent strength and toughness

Suitable for use in the fields of steel construction, boiler, container, machine manufacturing and shipbuilding construction as well as for use in welding low purity and high carbon steels

Suitable for the formation of welding buffer layers when building up high-carbon steels

Weld deposits with very low hydrogen content

Weld metal recovery of about 125%

Requirement of redrying for minimum 2 hours at temperatures between 300°C & 350°C
